I am having an account in State Bank of India (account no is 300xxxxxx), till recently I had good experience and co operation from the bank faculty members. On 17th May2012 I gave a cheque to one of my friend. When he went to take the money, he has been told insufficient amount. When I checked with internet banking, it was shocking to me to see that Rs 25,000/- was shown as lien amount, which was done without my knowledge, notice, consent and signature. When I inquired with the bank officials, the response given by them was not satisfactory and clear. I want them to explain why they have withheld 25,000 rupees from my account.

I have an account in SBI, Branch: Main Branch, Distt: Jhajjar(Haryana)( Account Number: 200254XXXXX). While withdrawing an amount of Rs.3000 from Punjab National Bank ATM, Chhapra(Bihar) on 07/04/2012, there is deduction of that amount from my account but I did not received any money. I tried two times and there is deduction of Rs (3000+3000). On 07/04/2012 there is refund of Rs.3000 only and rest amount is not refunded yet. I called many times to customer care, mailed to head office and branch manager, submitted an application to my branch but they did not resolved my problem yet. I want to know why they are not taking action.

I was in Mysore on March 3rd and visited a State Bank ATM (account no 3190xxxxxx) center to draw money. My requirement was Rs. 15,000/- the machine processed the request and I was waiting for the cash, but on screen it was so displayed that the transaction was cancelled. I re-inserted the card and checked the balance, though I didn’t receive cash it was showing that Rs. 15,000/- was deducted from my account (Transaction slip no 1863) . I then contacted adjacent bank manager and he told there is some problem in the server hence asked me to wait for some more time. I did wait and meanwhile contacted to helpline no displayed on the machine, even that person told the same. I checked the balance again on 4th March and it so appeared that half of the amount was credited (but later got to know it had turned to negative balance).My balance before the transaction was Rs. 18,534/- after transaction it was Rs.3,534/- though I dint receive the amount the available balance was Rs.3,534/-. The next available balance went to negative Rs.-11,466/-(Transaction no. 3142) and I got to know that the balance went to negative through the bank officials. Hence there was a miss-transaction of 30,000/-. The entire problem was on their side. The bank officials assured that there is some network problem and hence it will be rectified soon. As this is my salary account I want them to do the needful at the earliest, if not my salary would be credited and my balance will be negative. So I requested them to do something so that I can draw my salary to meet my commitments but they told that they are helpless. So I couldn’t get my salary and it took nearly 15-20 days to rectify the second transaction problem. But the first transaction Rs.15, 000/- is pending till now and it’s already 2months since the problem took place. Still there is no sign or trace why the first transaction Rs.15, 000/- was deducted it doesn’t appear in the mini statement too. I’m following up with the bank people frequently and have told them that I will will take up this is issue to Consumer Court and to RBI but still the problem was not rectified . I kept on enquiring and pressurizing the manager, but he seems to be very casual. They say the problem is rectified but almost 2 months got over still I dint get back my first transaction money Rs.15, 000/- So I want them to pay compensation for damages / inconveniences caused by the them. And I want them to refund my money with interest.
