I am Promilla Kapoor Billing residing at 6 east of Kailash New Delhi 110065. We have power connection with BSES my Consumer Number is 2530054406 and CA no is 100119063, Bill Number 100330142425 I have a sanctioned load of 11kw. I am a single working woman and am out full day till about 8 pm. I use ONE split 1.5 ton ac at night for about 9- 10 hours. During the day there are only a couple of lights and 1 refrigerator which are on. During summer including last month my bill has been coming 4700 with usage of 1065 kwh units the past years usage as well as for the last 5 years the usage pattern is more or less the same- averaging 1000 kwh in summer months and 300-400 in winter months and even that is high with the minimum appliances I use. The last several years electricity bills can be checked to see the usage pattern- My appliance and usage has not changed for past 5 years. I have been paying this large billing amount even though it should not be so with one AC and min lights and 1 refrigerator. But this moth IT IS absolutely ridiculous my bill is 8750 rs with usage of 4690 kwh which is just not possible with same appliances and usage it cannot be 4 TIMES the kwh usage. I cannot understand if the meter is running fast. I did have meter tested through BSES official representative a couple of months back as even winter bills with no ac were also over 2000 rs. The rest of the 3 flat owners in the same building with more appliances have a less kw usage. How this is possible for example the second floor has a usage of only about 400 kw with same appliances. Obviously what the meter testing department did was absolutely wrong because how did I get a bill like this. They have to revert the extra amount they quoted in the bill units.

We have the electricity connection with BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and the bill no 2530127369.We have been having some fluctuation in our bills and meter reading in August 2009. And ever since then the bill has been coming very high. We don’t have so many electric equipment even then the bill comes very high. When we show this trend of wrong billing to the department all they say is you have to pay your dues and then if not satisfied go for a new meter. We have two room house and we work outside for the whole day still our bill comes to the tune of 15000 Rs in two months. The floor below us has full family staying and the bill comes to RS 1200 Rs for 2 months. All we expect is the product has to be replaced with similar or superior product.
