| Tata Xenon, aka Tata TL, is a midsize lifestyle pick up truck indigeniously developed by Tata Motors. Available in two variants the XT 4X2 and a XT 4X4, the Xenon shares the same engine as that of Tata Safari. Extremely torquey, this spacious truck however lacks refinement to fit it into the lifestyle pick-up class. Descended from the Tatamobile 206 introduced in 1988 by Tata Motors, the Xenon has a 2179 cc CRDI engine which produces about 140 horses. The Sumo Grande shares the same platform as the Xenon. The strain available in India is the Xenon XT (Cross Terrain) which is a 4 door, 5 seater launched in 2009 |
