The Tata Indica is a hatchback automobile range manufactured by Tata Motors of India. The Indica Vista was unveiled at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Indica Vista is not a facelift of the Indica. It is built on a completely new platform and shares nothing with the existing Indica. This new version is bigger than the previous Indica, it is 3,795 mm (149.4 in) long with a wheelbase of 2,470 mm (97.2 in). The Indica Vista has two new engines, a 1.3 L Quadra Jet common rail direct injection diesel and a 1.2 L Safire MPFI VVT petrol engine. It is also available with the 1.4L TDi(Turbo Diesel). The Quadra Jet (Fiat JTD) is produced in Ranjangaon by the Tata-Fiat joint venture. The Indica Vista, rumoured as the Indica V3 till then, was launched in August 2008. In India the Indica Vista is available as Tera TDI, Aqua TDI, Aqua Quadra, Aura Quadra, Tera Safire, Aqua Safire, and Aura Safire.

Indica Vista is priced at Rs.3.44 lakh. The car has a smooth ride and the pick up is awesome. The car has a 1396cc 4 cylinders engine and 5 speed manual transmission. The car has a top speed of 140 kilometers. The mileage is very decent and it gives 15 kilometers per liter in the city. The car has an air conditioner that is powerful and keeps the car cool even under hot sun. The car does not come with a CD/MP3 player. The car does not have a central and remote locking system. The car offers a great deal of comfort. The leg room is enormous and the passengers in the back set do not face any difficulty. The car is reasonably priced and it is suited for families that are small.

The new Indica Vista from Tata is worth buying. Initially, I thought this model would just be a face-lift of the previous versions of Indica. However, this looks completely different. The car has better interiors now. The inside acoustics is good for the audio system. It gives a smoother ride. The overall driving experience is better when compared to the previous version

Indica Vista is quite so impressive. As I was driving the first version of Indica previously, I can sense a lot of difference between both these models. Vista is quite spacious when compared to its previous one. The money I spend on car maintenance have come down drastically, since I started driving this one. Test drive it. U will know.
