The BMW 5 Series is a mid-size luxury sedan car / executive car manufactured by BMW. The 5 Series got its name by being the fifth of the new series cars after the V-8 and Isetta era. The 5 Series began the BMW tradition of being named with a three-digit number. The 5 Series is available in the petrol variants 525i, 530i, diesel variants 520d, 530d, 530d Highline, and M5.

I have bought a 520d in the month of march this year, registered with number GJ5CQ9468 .While selling the car the local dealership did hide the fact that the car could only be driven through 7-8 inches of water, or else the water would enter the engine, whereas in INDIA it is very common of have 1 feet of water in monsoons mostly everywhere, if I would have such knowledge about the car I would not have bought it on the first instance only because how can we consider this car as a road worthy car for INDIAN roads. While selling the car the local dealership Parsoli motors had taken the insurance saying that it is a 100% insurance and each and everything in the car is covered, but when my car stopped in the water and water went in the engine this same people are now saying that this thing is not covered under my insurance policy. This is like cheating and duping peoples hard earned money.

We got our car BMW 5-series (vehicle no. RJ14CH4101, invoice no. 82736994) Teflon coated vide Bird Automotive (BMW dealer) on 2nd February 2011. The car was immediately rushed to Jaipur after taking its delivery in late evening hours, and was remained in unused condition till 8th February. On 8th February, we noticed scratches (of polishing machine) on the entire left side of our BMW which was immediately notified by email to BMW authorities as well as Bird Automotive (BMW Dealer). On 9th February, the undersigned took the vehicle to Gurgaon and on the time decided by BMW India, meeting was held on 9th February in the premises of Bird Automotive. Representative Mr.Udo confirmed the scratches are of polishing machine only. Bird Automotive representatives agreed to repair the vehicle, and the vehicle was left at the dealer and the undersigned came through Volvo with clear understanding that Bird Automotive will repair the entire vehicle free of cost. After lapse of 3 days, on 12th February, we were surprised to receive call from Bird Automotive that they have now declined to repair the car free of cost and would charge around Rs. 25,000/- (50 percent of actual expenses i.e Rs50000) which is contradictory to what has been agreed and decided with presence of BMW India official. We declined clearly, as there is no fault at our end - and previously also Bird Automotive have high handled our car at least four times but we are having no other choice other than to send our car to them because of ready availability of parts. We have complete written record, and regret mails from Bird Automotive of previous issues raised which shows the irresponsible attitude of BMW/Bird Automotive, and level of cooperation we have extended to them. Now, BMW India is backing of their words to repair free of charge. The company should repair the car free of cost

stylish,elegant,powerful and roaring wit power.... got to ride one of these beauties and damn it was fast... i personally liked the interiors as it provide a more relaxed kind of an atmosphere ... get more of these on da road and it wil be a march of glory....
