I have bought the Acer laptop from acer with 2 years of technical support for free (S/N LXRHJ010021272EAEF1601, Model Number- 5830tz). I have being trying getting in touch with them for last 4 days they are not even talking to me they do not know anything about laptop problems at all they are not able to rectify my problem moreover they are disconnecting the call. I sent a mail to their complaint department as well they are not responding to me so at the end I am writing to you. I want them to rectify the defects immediately.

I purchased a acer extensa 5603 laptop (serial number- lxe40C0499181B35E2000, invoice no 2 k 90608 dt 28/05/2009 from sai infotech. laptop mother board is not working , I had approached to local service agent noble st , rajkot , they told me that this no laptopextensa 5603 mother board is not available . We will give second hand with three month warranty only, cost rs 8000. I disagree with this because even after spending 8000/ I will get warranty of three month. I want them to replace it with the original mother board or if the duplicate one, I want them to extend the warranty.

I purchased a Acer Laptop, Model – Travel Mate during May 14, 2009. The purchase was made through Electrocomp Corporation, Mumbai vide Invoice number 000113. During the time of purchase the dealer said the laptop has 3 years warranty. For the past 2 months, the laptop stopped working. I handed over the laptop to the dealer – Electrocomp. After 2 months, they are now saying that the board has to be changed. I said OK. Now they are saying the board is not available in market. The laptop was purchased hardly 2.5 years back, but the mother board is not available now. The dealer now says that you have to purchase a new laptop. Did I purchase a laptop for Rs. 35,000/- to just replace it within 2-3 years ?. Now I want the company to take initiative and replace my laptop.

I bought an Acer laptop (model number- ao-522, serial number- lussh0800611524f3e160, invoice number- 11-SCZ08-11SICD143) on 6th aug 2011 from VIJAY SALES santacruz which stopped functioning in 15 days. A technician named Manoj came to change the motherboard which he said was defective but it didn’t start. Je took the laptop nearly 2 months ago and said i would get it in a week. I have made a dozen calls to the call centre who handles clients pathetically...no proper reply, no names of senior officials etc. also called service centre on 42517777 and spoken to them a 100 times....only reply i get....parts not come. I pleaded to give me the head office numbers or some senior official but they say they don’t have and to ask the call centre. i e mailed the company about my grievance and got an e mail promising my issue would be solved by 6th October which never happened. I again emailed on 7th oct but no reply. I also spoke to a senior official who tried his level best to help me....Mr KETAN who is apparently heading Acer from world office. He was good enough to follow up with them and called me to say my issue would be resolved by last weekend. However today when I called the service centre I was told the parts have yet not arrived....motherboard and lcd. I am shocked that a reputed company’s laptop packs of in 15 days and then they can’t provide parts required for over 45 days. I am a fitness instructor and my music and data was on the laptop and I have faced tremendous inconvenience. I explained all this to the service centre people and to Mr ketan(who was helpful to try but no result) I believe i have been more than patient with them but is this the way ....2 months to repair a brand new laptop...what quality and what after sales service??? I want them to repair the defect immediately.

Myself Jignesh j Patel and as shown in bill I had purchased a laptop (Acer aspire 5738 , serial number- lxpf8030119321cce72000) on 28 September 2009. I also extended warranty of it for one year which one is given in attachments. But customer care executive said that this laptop was registered in July 2009 and that was totally wrong. So I kindly request to you just update my warranty period in database and give me profit of warranty extension pack. Till now I can’t lock my case on online service for my fault in laptop. When I extended this warranty I paid 1200 rupees for it but it is totally useless. When I extended this care pack through your site you had sent only purchase bill of care pack but there was no care pack certificate sent by you. That was your fault and due to your fault I am not able to take warranty service in Acer service center. My extended warranty should have expired on 23rd Sep 2011. Due to their fault I am not able to service my laptop now. I purchased this laptop during 28th Sep 2009, but you had given me a certificate of care pack with purchasing date of 10th July 2009. Due to these types of faults I have wasted my money and time. I want them to immediately change the warranty details and provide free of service.

I purchased a Acer Aspire (Model Number - 5830T). The serial number of the laptop is LXRHM010011271765A1601. It was with 2 years additional warranty. The complaint is on the dealer for hiding the fact while selling product. I purchased it from VCL Infotech Private Limited, Nehru Place, New Delhi – 110019. There has been offer of Reebok shoe and Casio scientific calculator on purchase of Acer laptop and the same can be redeemed online. The dealer had provided a letter on how to redeem the offer by specifying that the same can be availed by end of September i.e 30th Sep 11. I had tried to redeem the offer between 15-17 and failed. When contacted it has been informed that the offer lapsed and withdrawn w.e.f 2nd sep 11. How a offer can be withdrawn without notification? Also if its withdrawn w.e.f 2nd Sep 11 why a customer cannot redeem the offer who purchased prior to the validity i.e on 20-8-11. I want them to immediately provide me the promised offer.

I have purchased 5552g Aspire model Acer laptop on 26/01/2011 from Croma-Himalaya mall, Ahmedabad. I complained many times on toll free no and Bix Comutre-Navrangpura Mr.Ram Tiwari personally also. In laptop is not supporting canon printer 2900b and supports other printers. I contacted Ram Tiwari and he is charging me Rs.700 for servicing. The laptop is still within the warranty period. I want the company to immediately fix the issue free of cost.

I bought an Acer laptop (Serial No- LXPTY021890250B2652500 ) on 19-10-2010, with a onsite warranty period of 1 year. But on 22-06-2011, it stopped working. I lodged a complaint on the same date (complaint id- 062211/331). On the next day an Acer engineer came and identified the problem and said the mother board and key board was not working. He assured me that the defective two items will be replaced with in 3-4 days. But till today (31-07-2011) nothing has been done. Now I want to lodge a complaint against the company in the consumer court, as I have spend much time and money by visiting/requesting (over phone) to the service center. Accept the product and refund the money or repair the defect at free of cost immediately.

I bought my laptop on 31/10/2010(invoice no LIH/02901/2010-11, laptop serial no: LXPTW0C02302506CAC2500), on 25/06/2011from life computers. I lodged a complain in Acer service center in varanasi as my laptop was not working. Now more than 13 days have been passed still I have not received back my laptop in working condition. When I contacted Acer regarding the same instead of giving me any resolution they behaved rudely with me. I have written proof for all this which I am stating in my complaint. I am highly dis-satisfied with the quality of service which Acer is proving to their consumers. I want them to repair the defect and give the laptop back to me.

I bought and Acer laptop and as soon as the warranty period was over it started giving problems. One day suddenly while I was watching a movie on my Laptop the screen just went blank. When I did restart it used to say booting error. I took the Laptop to an authorized repair place. But they messed it up even more, now the machine didnt react at all. Nothing happened and they said we will have to change the mother board. I dont like Acer and more than that the Acer service center.

I purchased ACER LAPTOP-ASPIRE 4520 MODEL IN 2007(Laptop Serial No-LXAHS0C032748044F72500). Since Jan 2011, it was not powering up. So I contacted ACER service centre on 2/4/11, in Vashi-Reverse Logistics co.pvt. Ltd, who charged 750/- for diagnosing charges -concluding that its mother board is not working, hence needs replacement-costing 12000/-. I agreed, but they told me that it is not in stock and will inform. I asked when it will be available, they said they don’t know. I told them to give me email id of their warehouse at Bangalore, which was declined from their end. I visited Acer website but there is no option to buy motherboards. I complained at their toll free number, but till date no response from their side. My entire work has come to halt and the best part is I don’t know where to take help from. I want them to repair the defect.

I have purchased Acer 5742Z laptop only 5 months back with serial number LXR4MO10020332TF561601, the instrument is being used single-handed in such a short time two of the keys have jumped out of its place. The problem was brought into the notice of the dealer who instead of solving the problem he started dilly dallying. Then the problem was referred to Acer service station one of their engineers inspected the unit and sent his report to the company, who in turn informed me that the damage has been caused by my negligence hence repairs will be done at my cost. I have a confirm belief that the keys have jumped out due to some manufacturing defect and should be got rectified by the company free of cost. Kindly get the needful done and oblige. The company is not fair in its dealing the dealer as well as the Acer service station has been approached to no results. Hence this needs to lodge a complaint in the consumer court most of the MNC are like this. They are different at the time of selling and quite different after sales. Action must be initiated against such companies. The company has to replace the keys and should fix this problem as soon as possible.

My acer aspire 5738z laptop bought on 25th jan 2010 developed a problem due to which it could not readcds or dvds. The laptop was working fine otherwise. As instructed by the customer care I submitted the laptop to Ms Digitech Services Pvt Ltd, the authorised service center for acer products on 21st july 2010. After pursuing with the said service center for almost a month finally I managed to get my laptop back on 19th august 2010. In this duration the laptop was never repaired and was infact used by the service center for their business purposes, as is evident from the several excel sheets left in recycle bin and documents folders.This was not the only problem, the laptop now has a 2GB instead of the 3GB ram, besides a faulty keyboard and powersaver option. They did replace the faulty dvd drive on 23rd sept 2010, however now they want me to lodge a complaint for the faulty keyboard and ram with customer care so that they can repair those parts, which should have been their headache

The model of the laptop I bought is AS5738G. Since the day I have bought it, I have been facing the problem of overheating and shut down. I am currently using a software called EVGA Precision to check the temperature. I have noticed that the overheating occurs more frequently if the GPU is put in use. This happens if I am using Photoshop CS4 or while gaming. I take care not to run softwares, the requirements of which exceed the configuration of the system but the problem still persists.I have been to the service centre several times, resulting in the replacement of the hard drive, thermal module and motherboard. Recently, I have also had the laptop replaced, but even the new laptop is suffering the same problem.Now the service center personnel is avoiding my calls and not responding to the complaint. If this continues, my warranty will get void by the end of this month.

Acer has a dull and l everyday look. But the feature it has outperforms most of the laptops in the market. The laptop weighs 1.39 Kg and that is very light for the users to carry where ever they go. The laptop has a 10.2 inches screen which makes the users to browse the web pages with ease. The phone has a premium look and feel. The laptop has a keyboard that is very comfortable to use. The users do not feel stressed typing emails or messages because of the soft keys that are on the keyboard. The laptop can connect to the Wi-Fi or the internet and offer high speed browsing on the move but a 3G dongle needs to be inserted to access the internet.

I am facing a very bad experience with my ACER Aspire 4810 laptop.The keyboard impressions(Space bar is more because the height of space bar is more than the other keys) are came on the screen within one month(Design defect), I approached there service center(M/s. Vaibhav Solutions,Mangalore) and i got very rood reply that "this is normal and we cant do any thing on that".Now the Hard disk and DVD drive is not working(4months old, DOP 01/09/2009), I given the product for service on 22/01/2010 at M/s. Vaibhav Solutions, Mangalore, and till today i have not got any positive reply from them.Every time when i call the service center they will say "if we get the spare we can repair your product".Then I spoke to company persons ( Acer,Bangalore Office on 08040708600) and Ms.Reshma responded to me and she told materials have been dispatched on 25/01/2010. I called her again on 28/01/2010 because still the service center has not got the spare, then she told "sorry material was dispatched on 27th and you will get it on 29th".Today(29/01/2010) i called her, now again the same story "material dispatched on 28th".They could not able arrange a HDD from last 8days.I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED BY PURCHASING ACER

I bought ACER laptop about 7 months back. It is under warranty. It had a problem in the Display Screen. I complained. The screen was replaced after about three weeks. Once again the screen has developed problems. It keeps flickering while working. My eyes are really getting affected. I made a complaint, it is more than 30 days. The company has not rectified the problem saying that the spare part has not arrived. My work is totally dependent on the laptop and therefore getting seriously affected by the problems I face because of the constant flickering of the screen. As you can infer, out of the seven months of using this laptop, I have been faced problems in using the laptop for almost two months.

Acer is cheap in all sense. The build quality is cheap, the components are cheap, the screen is cheap, the keyboards are cheap and the price is cheap. If you are looking for a durable laptop that would last you at least a year, then Acer is not what you should buy. Perhaps an HP or a Dell is a better bet. But if all you want to save a few thousand rupees upfront, then by all means buy an Acer because comparitively they are priced much lower than other makes.

Incredibly slow when compared to other laptops with the same config. Gets very hot, very poor ventilation. Very poor build. Bends and flexes even if a fly sits on it
