About Us

Echoing Lincoln, we proudly say Consumerdaddy is a website of the consumers, by the consumers, for the consumers.

Originally started as a social venture in the United States by a group of non-resident Indians to protect their consumer interests, Consumerdaddy has now evolved into a professional enterprise with the mission to promote consumerism and protect consumer interests throughout the world. Consumerdaddy is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA and operates primarily from our headquarters in Sterling, Loudoun County.

From time to time, we also run campaigns across various cities in the United States and India to help increase consumer awareness about the benefits of Consumerdaddy.

Consumerdaddy is not in any way supported by or affiliated to any government or non-governmental agencies. Consumerdaddy takes pride in the fact that it is completely independent, unaided and therefore completely reliable and neutral on matters related to consumer protection.

Through Consumerdaddy, consumers can file their complaints about companies. Due to the huge consumer and media attention that Consumerdaddy website has, companies usually quickly resolve the consumer complaints filed on our website. The following video gives you a behind the scenes glimpse of how a complaint received from a customer is processed and directed to the company.

It is important to note that Consumerdaddy does NOT have any statutory, regulatory or legal powers / authority to resolve consumer complaints. All consumer complaints we receive on our site are published and directed to the respective companies to obtain a resolution. Should the company choose to resolve the complaint, the compliant will be marked as resolved on the website. If the company chooses to ignore the complaint, it will be designated as unresolved, and the company’s consumer reports will be affected.

Today, India's market place has become a haven for unscrupulous consumer practices, compromised consumer products and in general, corporate greed. Consumerdaddy’s objective is to help retain the power of the market place is in the hands of consumers.
